Tom Binetter, Solicitor

Tom joined our team in November 2012 and has since acted in our commercial leasing, business law, estate planning and civil litigation areas.

 

Before joining Breene & Breene, Tom studied in the disciplines of arts and commerce. Tom was awarded the Sir Alexander Beattie Prize for Development of Labour History and First Class Honours for his thesis on Reverse Expatriation and its effect on the future of Expatriate Management.

 

Tom completed post-graduate legal studies at the University of New South Wales where he undertook a research internship at the Cyberspace Law and Policy Centre and achieved a place on the 2013 UNSW Faculty of Law Dean’s List.

 

As part of his work experience, Tom has additionally tutored Human Resources and Management subjects at both St Andrews College and the Women’s College at the University of Sydney, and embraced a position as Senior Producer of a local Jewish student theatre production. In his spare time Tom enjoys travel and music, building off his experiences previously managing and playing guitar in the ARIA-award nominated “post-rock” act “sleepmakeswaves”.
